The Chief Executive Officer of Pesco, Arif Khan Sadozai, has promised that once the necessary legal formalities have been fulfilled, power will be restored to industrial units that have had their connections cut off.
At a gathering of industrialists from Provincially Administered Tribal Areas (PATA) at the Regional Office of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) on Tuesday, he promised to look into their recommendations after thorough deliberation and provide whatever relief is legally permissible.

At the gathering, Sartaj Ahmad Khan (Regional Coordinator FPCCI) and Mohammad Shoaib Khan (President MCCI) apprised the PESCO chief and his associates of the tribulations encountered by industrialists in PATA because of power disconnection to their factories.
CEO PESCO Arif Sadozai stated that he does not wish to impede industrial development but will join forces with industrialists to find solutions. He mentioned that the electricity supply for industrial units disconnected due to non-payment of bills would be restored, yet they must comply with all legal regulations.
The CEO of PESCO declared that the levying and abolishing of taxes is the responsibility of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). He further stated that the payment for electricity bills in installments, it will be discussed after mutual negotiations.
The FPCCI informed the PESCO chief that areas such as Bradaam, Ashriat, and Arundu still lack access to electricity. In response, the PESCO chief instructed his team to visit these places together and create a report so that power can be supplied to them.
